The Ontario Police Video Training Alliance is a non-profit member driven organization that provides professional, high-quality video training packages to member police services of Ontario's Law Enforcement Community.
      Formed in 1996, the Ontario Police Video Training Alliance provided a cost effective means of producing video training programs and training packages to member services. We now provide video programs to over 24,000 Ontario police officers representing 90 Ontario Police Services.

   OPVTA WINS 6TH LEVA "AWARD OF DISTINCTION"

The results of this year's Law Enforcement Video Association (LEVA) are in! This year, five OPVTA projects were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

"Foot Pursuit!" received the Award of Distinction for best overall entry in the competition, and was also awarded the Gold Shield for Best Training Program (Technical/Safety category). This marks the 6th time in the OPVTA's 11 years that it has recieved LEVA's highest honour.

"Elder Abuse" was given the Award of Honor as second best overall entry, as well as receiving the Gold Shield for Best Interactive Multimedia. "Liquor License Act" received the Silver Shield award in the same category.

"Suicide Intervention" received the Gold Shield and "Stolen Innocence" was given the Bronze Shield for Best Training Program in the Professional/Policy category.
